Primary School Caretaker - Manchester

We are currently recruiting for a Primary School Caretaker at a school in Urmston, Trafford to start ASAP. They are looking for a Primary School Caretaker to work 6:30am-10:00am and then 2:30pm-5:30pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening and locking up the school as well as being responsible for the general maintenance of the school building and surrounding grounds.
Duties include:
- Working with the Site Manager to manage the upkeep of the school buildings and surrounding grounds
- Opening and locking up of the school grounds
- Gardening and performing landscape duties or supervising outside contractors
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required
- Monitoring cleaning materials, tools, and furniture and reordering as required
- Adhering to the school's safety policies to create a safe working environment for everyone
To join us and be successful in this caretaker role, you will need:
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, therefore you would need clear enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process a new one.
- Experience in a similar role as a caretaker or site maintenance.
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
- Provide a CV with employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
