A reputableconsultancy business based in Birchwood is seeking an experienced Category Buyer to join their team on a permanent basis.They are leadingbusiness in their field and have won multiple awards.
The Role
As a Buyer you will be supporting the Senior Buyer and Category Manager in managing the area of increased spend under management and focus on delivery of high-quality to services to internal and external customers. You will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activity, managing suppliers and speaking to suppliers about contracts.You will require a adequate level of procurement skills and ideally have the relevant category experience.
What you'll need to succeed- Public sector experience.
- Good level of excel skills.
- Previous buyer experience.
- £30,000 annual salary
- CIPS support and funding
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Private Medical Insurance (AXA Health)
- Life Assurance (4 x salary for beneficiaries)
