Talbot Heath School is seeking a proactive and highly organised MIS & Data Compliance Manager to coordinate the effective use of the school’s core data systems, with a particular focus on iSAMS. This standalone role is central to the smooth running of academic and administrative operations, and encompasses responsibility for managing and developing the iSAMS system, coordinating the production and distribution of academic reports, overseeing student subject options, and supporting in-year timetable updates.
The post holder will also ensure the timely and accurate submission of statutory census data and manage compliance processes relating to student visas. Reporting directly to the Headteacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing data insights to support strategic planning.This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced systems administrator who thrives in a varied role and is confident working independently within a busy school environment.
The successful candidate will be:
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage complex data systems and processes independently.
- Proficient in using and administering iSAMS (or similar MIS), with strong technical and analytical skills.
- An effective communicator who can provide clear guidance and support to staff across academic and operational teams.
- Confident in managing statutory compliance, including census returns, visa processes, and data protection (GDPR).
- Adaptable and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement in school systems.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm (30 minutes for lunch)
Salary: £30,000 (FTE £35,000)
