Are you a confident KS2 Class Teacher with strong classroom management skills, looking for a new challenge If so, we want to hear from you.Teach Plus are working with a 1-form entry primary school located in Wandsworth, who are seeking a part-time Year 5 Class Teacher to join them in September.
This primary school, rated "Good" by OFSTED, is committed to fostering confident, respectful, and responsible learners. It places strong emphasis on values such as curiosity, integrity, and inclusion, creating a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to thrive academically and personally.
As a Year 5 Class Teacher you will be required to:
Take on full Year 5 Class Teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessmentsPlan and deliver lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression
Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the internal development of the school
The ideal candidate for the Year 5 Class Teacher role will have:
Strong knowledge of the National CurriculumRecent KS2 Year 5 Class Teacher or similar experience, either within student placements or responsible for your own class
A strong work ethic who is willing to commit until the end of the academic year
UK recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
Right to work in the UK
