Key job responsibilities
  • Ensure APUKs payment activities comply with all legal and regulatory
requirements by monitoring business activities and regulatory change
  • Advise on regulatory requirements and develop compliance plans for new
business initiatives
  • Develop, document, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
  • Deliver compliance awareness and training to the business
  • Prepare reports for internal governance committees
  • Review, challenge and approve risk records, policy breaches, and escalation
items
  • Collaborate with business leads to respond to auditor and regulator

inquiries

### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Experience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs

or equivalent

### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Significant regulatory compliance experience in financial services or
payments
  • Deep understanding of Payment Services Regulations and related FCA
compliance areas like Consumer Duty, Complaints Handling and Safeguarding
  • Proven ability to lead compliance strategy and regulatory engagement
  • Experience of delivering results through collaboration
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving
  • Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial

environment
