Female Personal Assistant
Area: DarlingtonDescription: Support a 12-year-old autistic child with PDA profile to build confidence and access the community
Hours: 2.5 - 5 per week
Days and times are flexible, support likely to be required mainly at weekends, but may also be during the week.
Wage: £11.44 per hour
Duties to include: Building a relationship with the young person and gaining their trust in the home, eventually support will be to go out in the community and support around interests. Support with personal care.
Essential criteria: Have experience of working with autistic children. Need to be reliable, flexible and trustworthy. Must be happy to work with another personal assistant when supporting the young person to access the community.
Training and support will be given.
Desirable: Own transport and business insurance would be an advantage.
