You will be joining a design and build contractor overseeing the successful delivery of civil works within the water sector. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.They boast an impressive list of high-profile clients they work in partnership with and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Manager to be based on sites in the Shropshire area. This is a full-time site-based position.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations
- Ensuring adherence with health, safety and environmental policies
- Reporting progress to key project stakeholders
- Managing construction activities
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors
- Maintaining budgets and schedules.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will:
- Have previous experience in heavy civils, ideally in the water sector, in a site management or supervising capacity
- Hold a CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualification
- Understand health, safety and environmental policies
- Be able to manage construction activities and coordinate subcontractors
- Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
