We are looking to recruit a dynamic, hardworking, kind, compassionate Band 5 Dermatology Nurse or an individual with Dermatology interest to join our friendly supportive Team, who will participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation of patient care and to ensure continuity of care providing support for a group of patients with Dermatological conditions.

The role involves supporting the surgical team in the minor ops service for patients undergoing specific Dermatological Surgical procedures and may involve cross site working to support the demand of the service we are looking for and caring individual.

The post is fixed term for 12 months.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to deliver high quality care, supporting and assisting the Dermatology surgeons and surgical team, providing clinical nurse advice, education and treatment resulting in excellent holistic care for our patients.

Our dermatology department provides various surgical procedures on all ages under local anaesthetic and would require the post holder to be flexible and organised to meet the demand as well as offering support with post op wound clinics.
