About the Role
The Senior QA Manager (Nights) will play a key role in maintaining and improving food safety and quality standards during night shifts. This newly created role strengthens our technical oversight across both high-care and low-care areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals to ensure food safety and compliance
- Manage internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous compliance improvements
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive food safety and quality initiatives
- Identify and mitigate food safety risks, implementing preventative measures
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track quality performance
- Ensure adherence to retailer standards and manage customer concerns effectively
About You
This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced QA professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
Key Skills- Proven experience in a management role within the Technical function of a food manufacturing business
- Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and BRC standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions during night shifts
- Food Safety Level 3 & HACCP Level 3 (Level 4 preferred)
- Monday to Friday, 22:30-06:30 (flexible start and finish)
- 35 days of holiday (including bank holidays, which must be booked off)
