Trust Education are currently hiring for a Primary Teacher for a Year 3/4 class to become part of their team. This is for a role working in a primary school in Rotherham, full time on an ongoing basis starting as soon as possible. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has prior experience of teaching KS2, in particular mixed year grouls to support the pupils' progression in the class.
This is an exciting chance for a motivated Year 3/4 (KS2) Primary Teacher to make a real impact on KS2 pupils. As a Year 3/4 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students and ensures they are well-prepared for their progression into upper KS2.You will play a key role in helping the pupils at the school, grow academically, providing a nurturing environment where every child will flourish.
Key Responsibilities:- Have a proven track record of raising attainment in a KS2 class.
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all the pupils in a mixed Year 3/4.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Establish relationships with pupils, encouraging their confidence, independence, and social development.
- Work closely with colleagues form across KS2 and SLT.
- Supporting SEN pupils, to ensure they thrive alongside their peers.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with the school's policies and procedures.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS2.
- A deep understanding of the Year 3 and 4 curriculum.
- A passion for teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and a positive attitude towards team collaboration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage time effectively.
- Be able to identify gaps in pupil learning and manage this to narrow this.
- An ability to use a variety of assessment methods to track and support pupil progress.
