Part-time Teacher of Technology (0.6 FTE)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in one of the country’s leading selective schools, recently awarded with The Sunday Times Schools Guide Secondary School of the Decade (for East Anglia). We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Technology to a welcoming and supportive department.
We are looking for someone who has as much enthusiasm about Design and Technology as we do. This job would suit someone who enjoys teaching and is looking to work alongside an upbeat and highly motivated department; with some fantastically engaged students.This is an exciting opportunity to work with able and enthusiastic students who are a delight to teach.
The salary is MPS or UPS, depending upon the candidate and is suitable for an experienced or a newly qualified teacher. A TLR for the management of Careers is also currently available within the school. The technology building consists of 5 teaching rooms for the 3 members of teaching staff and is supported by a full-time dedicated technician.
The department offers the OCR Product Design GCSE and A Level course, following a broad key stage 3 curriculum.
