Finance Officer

This role is to help support the current team with an increase in demand in the council. The role involves investigating queries and contacting clients regarding their financial assessments and care charges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with financial assessments
  • Handle purchase ledger and sales ledger tasks
  • Manage debt recovery and other charging-related work
Requirements
  • Strong numerical skills and proficiency with financial systems
  • Ability to work accurately, concisely, and quickly
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills
  • Preferable: Finance background and experience in local authority or public sector
