SCHOOL SITE MANAGER

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7am - 4pm

Location: Soar Valley Community College, LE4 7GY

G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Site Manager on a full-time, permanent basis based at Soar Valley Community College in Leicester.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual that can work well on their own as well as part of a team. Managing Premises Officers, Cleaning Leads, and Cleaning staffs you will work as part of the FM team undertaking a range of duties and tasks to ensure the site is maintained to the standards detailed in the Contract and to the satisfaction of both G4S and the Client.

Responsibilities

Monitor Concept system's Open Task Report daily to ensure tasks adhere to agreed protocols.
Work with Helpdesk and Senior Management to complete tasks promptly and minimise performance deductions.
Organise planned and reactive cleaning and assess, audit and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the site.
Deal with emergencies like burst pipes, roof collapses, and spills; assess situations, plan solutions, coordinate with suppliers for cost agreements and site visits.
Support Senior Management with project delivery and ad hoc works.
Ensure all staff and school users are aware of when and where work is being carried out.
Act as primary on site liaison with School Business Manager to ensure an effective and cooperative working partnership.
Enforce site safety procedures, permit issuance, and review task documents for completed tasks.
Maintain site records to high standard: statutory, service certificates, PPM, damage, labour records for audit trail of site works by staff and contractors.
Document and oversee accidents, incidents, near misses by G4S staff, contractors, and school reports.

Assist the Contract's operational activities for efficient asset management.

The Ideal Candidate: Essential

Experience in delivering facilities in an operational environment.
Working to service performance KPIs.
Line management experience.
Knowledgeable in relevant Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permit to Work procedures.
IOSH Managing Safety.
IT literacy in Microsoft suite.

Full driving licence.
