Theatre Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced theatre professional to join our established Drama department assisting the Technical Theatre Manager with school productions, examination performances and co-curricular clubs whilst also being the lead technician for external lettings and evening events as required.
The department has excellent facilities, including the Michael Frayn Theatre, green room, dressing rooms and a black box studio with full lighting and sound capability. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who can multi-task, be a team player, with a proactive approach to work.

Prior to interview, an online search will be conducted to identify any past or current incidents or issues that might affect your suitability to work with children and undertake this role. This is in line with guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education.

You will have the initiative to work collaboratively and creatively within the drama department to provide the highest standard of support to the performances, productions, and co-curricular activities.
The role is offered on a part time basis working 20 hours per week.
