HGV Class 1 Night Driver

Are you a HGV Class 1 Night Driver looking for part-time work? Want to work with one of the UK's leading supply chain logistics providers? Working within the automotive sector with us, long term opportunities are available. Night shifts are available Monday - Friday from 17:00 onwards.

This role will involve:

• Local delivery and collection of Automotive parts
• Local sequence deliveries from manufacturing facility into plant
• Some distance deliveries to and from other suppliers/manufacturers
• Typical start times 17:00 onwards
• 8-12 hour shifts (Minimum 9 paid / Inc 1 hour Overtime)
• 2-4 shifts per week
• No Handball
• Sites based in Solihull & North Birmingham

Successful HGV Class 1 Drivers will:

• Have at least 6 months C+E experience
• Held Class 1 licence for AT LEAST 1 year
• Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)
• Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card

HGV Class 1 Drivers PAYE rates of pay:

Guaranteed 9 hours per shift (1 hours overtime daily)

Mandatory assessments are involved which will include:

• Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required)
• Full site and safe systems of work induction
• Vehicle familiarisation
• Practical driving assessment
