Sheridan Maine is currently partnering with a well-known organisation in Bournemouth to recruit a Temporary Accounts Assistant for an assignment lasting approximately 4–5 months.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to support a busy team and gain valuable experience within the business.

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Provide timely and effective financial and accounting support to the organisation
  • Produce a final settlement of accounts for clients
  • Liaising to arrangement payments
  • Process financial transactions and payments within the finance system.
  • Support the wider finance function with tasks including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing documentation and analysis.
  • Respond to auditor queries and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Fully or part AAT qualified
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
