With a portfolio consisting of many Global Brands, my client prides themselves in their ability to provide a full turnkey solution from concept through to installation UK wide and have a proven track record in not only meeting but exceeding clients expectations and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timeframes.
They are now seeking to appoint an additional Project Manager who is a team player to further complement their existing team, where you will be involved in working on a wide arrange of small and large scale projects from Instore Displays through to complete Installs.
Reporting to the Project Director you will be responsible for:
- Managing own projects – this will include handling multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring each one is delivered on time and within budget.
- Preparing schedules and work plans, anticipating and solving challenges/problems and therefore ensuring that key priorities are dealt with in the most practical order.
- Produce accurate production quotes for clients, using excel templates is a necessity.
- Negotiating with suppliers to ensure best value, as well as having a good eye for detail to ensure supplier goods are fit for purpose and arrive on schedule.
- Although mainly office based there may be occasions where you will need to attend Client and Supplier meetings so travel may be required and you will have access to a Pool Car.
- Attend Project sites (when required which may be UK or occasionally Overseas).
Requirements:
- Multi project management experience of small and large projects such as Displays, Concessions, and Fixtures and Fittings through to complete Fit outs etc.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Strong organisational skills to ensure accurate administration of projects and costs.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Committed to the hours that projects and the industry dictate
- Ability to provide cost estimates.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements for working in public spaces and CDM regulations.
- Technical and practical understanding of manufacturing drawings and uses of different materials such as Plastic/Metal Fabrication, Woodworking, LEDs etc.
