Geography at Prendergast School is a popular subject which has a strong uptake at both GCSE and A Level. The department consistently achieves excellent results, with A Level performance ranked at ALPS 2 in 2024. The successful candidate will inspire students and play an active role in developing the department's curriculum.
Geography is part of the Humanities Faculty. The Humanities Faculty consists of a group of dedicated teachers who pride ourselves on the support we offer our students as much as we value collaboration with our colleagues. Whilst academic achievement is of utmost importance to the Humanities faculty, we are committed to the overall development of our students as well-rounded, empathetic individuals.Within the Humanities curriculum, we emphasise celebration of and respect for cultural diversity within our community and beyond.
