Pay Rate: £85 - £105 per day (dependent on experience)

A high-performing secondary school in Manchester is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students who need additional help with their learning. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with young people, ensuring they reach their full potential in a supportive and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- One-to-One & Small Group Support: Assist students with SEN or additional learning needs.
- Adapting Learning Materials: Modify classroom resources to support individual learning styles.
- Encouraging Student Independence: Help students develop confidence and self-reliance in their learning.
- Classroom Assistance: Work alongside teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly and all students are engaged.
- Monitoring Progress: Track student development and provide feedback to teachers.
- Supporting Well-being: Assist students with both academic and emotional challenges.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or support capacity.
- A strong understanding of SEN and additional learning needs.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
