• Oversee the product development process from initial concept to manufacturing.
• Utilise CAD software for design and simulation of products.
• Develop and optimise mechanical systems and components.

• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Mechanical Design Engineer should have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years experience within Industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent project management skills.
• An innovative mindset for problem-solving and design optimisation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desirable skills/experience:

• Electronic/Robotic experience.
• Aerospace / defence knowledge.
• Actuation design.
• Electric motor gearboxes.
• Pneumatic/hydraulic experience.

• A competitive salary range of £40,000-£60,000 per annum.
• An annual bonus of up to £3,000.
