Salary: £235 per day Umbrella

This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in enhancing fire safety measures and ensuring the integrity of buildings through the installation of fire doors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install fire doors, frames, and associated hardware in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and assessments to identify fire door deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure fire doors are integrated seamlessly into building designs and renovations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in fire safety regulations pertaining to fire door installation and maintenance.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues and clients on fire door-related matters.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner with a specialisation in fire door installation and maintenance.
• Experience working in a housing association or council
• In-depth knowledge of fire door regulations, building codes, and relevant industry standards.
• Strong carpentry and joinery skills, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
