• 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday, WednesdayTeaching all year groups Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)Mainstream secondary school in south Bristol, BS15 (Speedwell)About the roleTeaching 12 out of 18 periods in 3 days + Tutor CoverLead engaging and practical lessons that develop students skills in design and technology.Encourage students to develop their practical skills and theoretical knowledge in a variety of disciplines, mastering a variety of tools, materials, and techniques.Assess and monitor student progress, marking and providing constructive feedback, setting challenging targets.Get involved with extracurricular activities and events within the school community.What we are looking for from youHold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Prior experience teaching secondary education at KS3 and KS4Solid subject knowledge in Design and Technology.A collaborative educator who inspires students to think creatively and develop practical skills.Available for the duration of the contract
