Learning Support Assistant - Special Needs School, South London
A highly regarded Special Needs school in South London is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide support to a child with Autism.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a classroom setting and previous experience working with children with Autism and/or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties.

The position will initially be temporary, with the potential to become permanent, offering extensive opportunities for professional growth and development.
The school also provides additional training and support.
Role:- As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher across all subjects, contributing to creative lesson planning.
- Supporting the student on a one-to-one basis, you will build a rapport, keeping them engaged and helping to improve social skills while overcoming learning challenges.
- Right to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS (£38 fee)
- Previous experience working with children with Autism or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties
- Commitment to working full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm)
- Passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs
- Dedicated 1:1 consultant support
- Weekly pay (£450-£485)
