Part Time Self Storage Customer Advisor Position, 30 hours

We have an excellent achievable commission package. Starting OTE available is £19,196.40. Last year our Customer Advisors took their basic wage from £11.44 an hour to an average achieved £12.31 an hour.

Full Time Shifts across Monday - Sunday. (with 2 days off TBC)

Flexibility required to cover holidays / sickness.

We are looking for:
  • A well presented, sociable and enthusiastic person is required to assist with the day to day running of our Widnes Head Office Self Storage Facility.
  • You will be the first point of contact for both new and existing customers. ·
  • You will have face to face, telephone and email contact with customers. ·
  • The job is situated within a relaxed but professional small team and in a pleasant environment working with nice colleagues and customers. ·
  • You will be primarily tasked with ensuring the facilities operate to their most efficient level whilst at the same time displaying a “can do” positive and pleasant attitude with all customers and colleagues.
  • This will involve selling storage units and related products as well as general upkeep / cleaning of the facility for our customers. ·
  • The successful candidate will report directly to Management and will ideally have previous experience of sales and customer service. ·
  • The successful candidate will be required to work both within a small team and lone working.
  • The successful candidate will be a key holder and responsible for opening and/or closing the facility.
  • Progression opportunities based on performance.
  • The successful candidate will need to be flexible in regard to working hours to aid with holiday cover.
  • There is a generous bonus scheme in place in addition to the basic salary.
  • 4 weeks holiday entitlement.
  • Rate: £11.44 / hr
  • Full Time OTE: Up to £19,196.40
Professional Skills:
  • Keyboard / IT Skills such as Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written.
  • Experience of sales procedures being set and achieving targets.
  • An understanding and experience of health & safety procedures.
  • Full driving licence and own car required as the candidate will be required to cover our St Helens, Wigan and Widnes sites.
Personal Skills:
  • Can demonstrate excellent customer service skills through a helpful and “can do” attitude.
  • Self motivated, flexible and able to work as part of a small team or alone.
  • Of smart appearance.
  • Highly punctual and excellent attendance record.
  • Able to act off own initiative.
