About the role:

As a Projects Document Controller at Sword Group, you will play a critical role in the effective management of project documentation across various stages of the project lifecycle. This position is essential for ensuring that all documentation is systematically processed, tracked, and maintained, thus contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Your responsibilities will include managing the flow of documents between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with internal standards and industry regulations. You will ensure that documents are accessible, accurate, and securely stored, ultimately supporting the smooth execution of our projects within the Energy, Public, and Finance sectors.

Here's what the role looks like:

  • Oversee the systematic management of project documentation using the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
  • Implement document control procedures, ensuring compliance with project standards and client requirements.
  • Coordinate the transfer of documents between internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain a tracking system for all documentation, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Conduct regular audits of documentation to uphold integrity and compliance.
  • Provide support and training to project teams on document control processes and tools.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in document management practices.

Requirements

Required skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in document control within a project environment, preferably in development or decommissioning projects in the Energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of electronic document management systems and related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with compliance standards and best practices in document management.
