Accounts Payable Assistant | £24,000-28,000 | Runcorn

A fast-growing, reputable organisation in Runcorn is recruiting for a permanent Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team.

In this Accounts Payable Assistant role, you will be tasked with:

• Processing purchase ledger invoices
• Dealing with purchase ledger queries in a timely manner, resolving discrepancies
• Processing purchase orders
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Building relationships with suppliers
• Managing direct debit accounts
• Bank account reconciliations
• Processing expenses
• Managing all payments and preparing for payment runs
• Supporting the month end close

For this role we are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working in a purchase ledger role, ideally within a high volume environment
• Strong experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
• Ability to work at a fast pace and to tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
