English Teacher
Set in beautiful grounds in the Kent countryside with first-class facilities, we are a thriving, well-resourced day, and flexible boarding school for 450 boys and girls aged 2 to 16.
We are now seeking an experienced and inspirational English Teacher to join the team from September 2025, on a full-time basis to teach years 7 - 11.
Working as part of an established and cohesive team, you will be supporting the Head of Department in the planning and delivery of high quality and enjoyable English lessons to children of all abilities in our Senior School, up to and including GCSE.You will also be a Form Tutor.
Our ideal candidate will also have the ability to teach some Key Stage 3 History with significant support from the Head of History.
Teaching in our Senior School, you will prepare children for a range of different senior school assessments, which include Common Entrance and 13+ scholarship, as well as the GCSE curriculum. You will demonstrate a real passion for your subject and a commitment to ensuring every child is able to achieve their full potential.A willingness to participate in the extra-curricular and pastoral life of our vibrant and dynamic school is essential.
The role is suitable for ECT and those beginning their career in teaching, and we would welcome your application.
