We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic dietitian to provide a specialist colo-rectal dietetic service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This post is dedicated to managing an in-patient colo-rectal caseload of both medical and surgical modalities, and will require thorough understanding of complex nutrition support requirements including parenteral nutrition and complex enteral tube feeding.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality, evidence-based clinical service to these patients. It is anticipated that your clinical experience and knowledge will contribute to the development of this specialist service. You will provide highly specialist dietetic support for this patient cohort.
We are a large, high profile, friendly department involved in undergraduate and post graduate medical training. We also facilitate placement 1, 2 & 3’s for dietetic students and are involved in teaching other health professionals such as nursing and therapy colleagues.The department is forward thinking and our service delivery is very much influenced by the audits and research projects we carry out which are supported by excellent IT facilities and Quality Improvement initiatives. The department also supports robust CPD for all staff members.
