Due to recent expansion of our service we are looking to recruit a number of nurses into our established team.
We are looking for highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic nurses, who are passionate about delivering high quality, evidence based care. You will need to be equipped with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. You should be an enthusiastic, innovative, highly motivated nurse to fulfill this exciting role.
Working on ISGU will require you to care for patients undergoing emergency surgery including general surgery/colorectal and gynaecology.
You will be a highly skilled individual, able to effectively assess, plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of care for our patients, in the pre and post operative period.
You will be required to take charge of a team of patients which will require excellent prioritisation and management skills as this is a fast paced environment.
You will be supported to develop a range of clinical skills and expanded roles to ensure our patients receive evidence based care.
You will be expected to support unqualified staff and junior colleagues, sharing your knowledge and skills to promote their development.
You will be required to engage and work in collaboration with several members of the multidisciplinary team. You will be required to communicate effectively with your patients, their relatives and your colleagues, providing high quality, safe care.
