Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, to work for a well-established Food business based at their Market Drayton site. Working as part of a team, your role will be a mixture of reactive and planned preventive maintenance work, alongside continuous improvements and projects.

• Electrical & mechanical diagnostic/ fault finding techniques on automated food manufacturing machinery.
• Awareness of Production OEE's and strive to make improvements to the OEE's.
• H&S checks and equipment compliant, in place and working.
• Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Routine maintenance and monitoring of production machinery, and ensure all tasks are carried out and/or recorded in accordance with company policies.
• Participate in projects as and when required.

• Apprentice trained or equivalent to level 3 (Mechanical).
• Has some multi skilled capacity
• Ideally from a fast-paced manufacturing background such as Food / FMCG, although other engineering backgrounds will be considered.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Experienced working on continuous improvement projects.
