Our client, a vibrant and supportive secondary academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking to appoint a passionate and motivated Science Early Career Teacher to join their dynamic Science department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to begin their career in a school that values innovation, high standards, and professional growth. You will be joining a well-resourced department committed to delivering engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that inspire curiosity and support academic progress
- Develop creative and engaging teaching strategies that cater to a range of learner needs
- Assess, track, and monitor student progress to ensure all learners are making strong gains
- Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and participate in enrichment opportunities
- Engage in the school’s Early Career Teacher programme and work closely with mentors and colleagues to support your development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS (or be on track to achieve QTS by September 2025)
- A degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
- A genuine passion for teaching Science and making a positive impact on young learners
- Strong subject knowledge and a willingness to continually develop professionally
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
