Graduate Music Assistant

A six-month role supporting a vibrant school music department, ideal for a recent music graduate with strong piano skills. Reporting to the Director of Music, the assistant will help with rehearsals, accompany students, and support ensembles, choirs, and music technology.
Responsibilities will vary based on skills and interests but may include teaching small groups (KS3–KS5), assisting with performances, and using music software.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about music education, well-organised, and confident in working with young musicians. Experience in ensemble performance, music theory, and piano accompaniment is essential. Additional skills such as conducting, arranging, or vocal ability are desirable.This role is suited for someone exploring a career in music education.
