Maths Teacher (SEMH) – Full-Time Position

East Lancashire – September Start, Full Academic Year (Potentially Longer)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at a Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) school in East Lancashire. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with students in a supportive and dynamic environment, where your skills and experience will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons tailored to the needs of SEMH students
  • Manage classroom behaviour with confidence and a calm, positive approach
  • Build positive, respectful working relationships with students and staff
  • Adapt teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Maths Teacher with strong subject knowledge
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • A sense of humour and a positive, solution-focused attitude
  • The ability to build rapport and trust with students
  • Passion for supporting students with SEMH needs and helping them achieve their potential

Salary: Dependent on skills and experience.
