Learning Support Team Coordinator

This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to gain or develop supervisory experience in a large team. This role involves:

  • Assisting with the recruitment of new staff.
  • Assisting with the induction programme for new staff.
  • Timetabling Learning Assistants across all college sites.
  • Liaise with other support staff and Faculties about student support.
  • Arranging sick cover at short notice.
  • Supervising a team of Learning Assistants and communicating changes to the team.

You will need the following skills and personal qualities:

  • Have a keen eye for detail.
  • Be able to complete administrative tasks to a high quality and within certain timeframes.
  • To have strong computer skills, including Office 365.
  • Be flexible in your approach, as no two days are the same.
  • Have a friendly, professional approach.
