The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Event Producer to join the small but mighty Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios Events Team, reporting into the Head of Events.
You will lead cross functional teams, brief agencies, present event concepts to key stakeholders, source and manage vendors, oversee budgets, ticketing and comms. You'll have no ego when it comes to volunteering to support the team while taking care of event admin and maintaining team processes.
In this role you’ll sometimes encounter punchy budgets and other times you’ll need to roll your sleeves up and work with very little; we’re looking for someone who’s comfortable at both ends of that scale. We have established agency partners but you’ll be empowered to engage new ones - you’ll have the freedom to ideate yourself where you want to or outsource creative development.
We operate in a high-ambiguity environment where things often change. As part of a global Hollywood studio, you’ll encounter a huge range of diverse stakeholders. We’re looking for someone with demonstrable production experience who can present their ideas succinctly, persuade and influence, adapt, earn trust and ultimately win over a room.
Your demonstrable ability to communicate, co-ordinate and budget will be as critical as building middle earth in Leicester Square or debating safe piglet-to-journalist ratios at Diddly Squat Farm.
Expectations of the role- You will be a creative and strategic thinker who has relentless high standards and attention to detail.
- You’ll be a production native who is as comfortable discussing the ‘how’ as much as the ‘what’. Ownership is key; we expect event producers to be able to converse with technical, build and production partners fluently and to understand the safety, regulatory and practicality implications of our operation.
- You’ll be comfortable with the word pivot, it’s normal for plans to change. To succeed you will be flexible in your approach and solutions focused.
- You be able to clearly articulate your event vision, securing buy in from stakeholders and bringing them on a journey with you. Fostering deep relationships across the Amazon businesses.
- This role is based in Shoreditch, East London but requires extensive international travel. Be prepared to grab your passport.
- We are proud to innovate, we continue to deliver industry award-winning work.
- We are curious about cultures and lean into this to create collaborative working environments.
- We feel safe to share our mistakes openly and celebrate our wins as a team.
- At Amazon we are customer obsessed and proud of our culture. If you would like to know more please read our Leadership Principles. - Experience in the delivery of high-profile events at an agency, entertainment studio, or with a global brand
- Fluent written and spoken English- Bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite of products
