Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (German)

MPS/UPS

Permanent

Part Time: 0.6

Required for September 2025

The National Academy ethos, ‘Life in all its fullness’, underlines our commitment to the education of the whole of the child, with the development of our students’ character and cultural capital as important as their academic progress. Accordingly, committed to the wellbeing of our students and staff alike, we pride ourselves on our duty of care to both.

At The National Academy our children are at the centre of all that we do and we value and support all who walk through our gates.

We wish to appoint a Teacher of German for September 2025. This is a permanent appointment and suitable for an experienced or newly-qualified teacher. The timetable consists of KS3 and KS4 classes so experience in these key stages is desirable.

KS5 may also be an opportunity in the future.

The successful applicant will work in the Languages faculty which is a successful, popular and forward-thinking faculty including English and MFL. The main pedagogy follows Dr Gianfranco’s framework. If appointed, the applicant will benefit from the following:

  • Full support and induction;
  • Excellent CPD opportunities;
  • Leadership openings if appropriate;
  • A strong and caring ethos among staff and students;
  • Excellent purpose-built post 16 facilities;
  • Strong leadership at senior and middle levels;
  • A well-being package;
  • Networking opportunities across the MITRE trust.
Please contact Mrs I Bust (ibust@nationalacademy.org.uk) MFL Lead to arrange a visit or a further discussion;
Closing date for applications: Midday on Friday 21st March 2025

Interviews to be held: w/c Monday 24th March 2025
