Rethinking education, helping tomorrow’s citizens flourish.

We seek to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of English who is able to develop, plan and deliver an effective and high-quality learning experience to all our pupils.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher, able to motivate and inspire both staff and students whilst demonstrating inclusion and the well-being of every young person. Importantly, they will also have outstanding subject knowledge.

An interest in Drama and the ability to teach it at Key Stage 3 is desirable.

We are proud to welcome 11-18 year olds from all across Birmingham through our doors to be part of our state-of-the-art school, giving them the opportunity to develop great character and achieve academic success in a thriving community.

We will have high expectations of you to be an outstanding role model committed to the distinctive ethos of our School, where we strive for academic excellence, underpinned by character education.

In return, we can offer:

  • Professional Development: We are committed to your growth. You will benefit from ongoing professional development, with additional training days to enhance your teaching pedagogy.
  • Research & Development: Enjoy 3 dedicated days per year to focus on your own research or professional development.
  • World-Class Resources & Partnerships: Access cutting-edge resources, research, and professional networks through our collaboration with the University of Birmingham.
  • Support for ECTs: If you are an Early Career Teacher, you'll receive excellent support and guidance to ensure a successful start to your career.
  • Enrichment Opportunities: Be involved in our exciting timetabled enrichment programme, making a meaningful impact beyond the classroom.
