Radiology Reception Co-ordinator
A Vacancy at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will form part of the Radiology Team and will be expected to undertake duties within the area of Radiology administration which supports the patient's journey through the Radiology department.
Such work will involve arranging digital Radiology appointments, liaising with Modality Leads, Consultants, Speciality Booking Co-Ordinators and other external organisations and requires excellent knowledge of multiple IT systems.
Please note that evidence of certificates/qualifications will be required at interview and during the onboarding process.
The post holder will be required to work on reception across multiple sites. Responsible for the management and booking of digital Radiology appointments on the Radiology CRIS system and ensuring that appointment lists are fully utilised.
Entry of GP net account referrals for all patients into the digital imaging Radiology request system and dealing with patients, consultants and other members of staff.

On-Call
Please note that senior positions (AFC band 8A or above) may be expected to participate in an on-call rota, if the role is predominantly operational.
