Teacher of Drama
We are looking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic Teacher of Drama - who can motivate and inspire pupils across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 - to join our forward-thinking Creative Arts department. The ability to teach either Dance or Music would also be desirable.
You will have a good track record of excellent classroom practice, be committed to high standards of learning and student progress, with the energy and vision to build on current progress, and have ambitions for yourself and our school. A keen interest in Dance to support our ever-growing department both in curriculum and as an enrichment activity would be an advantage.
This is a part-time/full-time, fixed term contract in the first instance, to start in September 2025. There is potential for this role to become permanent in the future, which can be discussed at interview.
The Drama and Dance department sits alongside Music, Art, Textiles and Media in the Creative Arts faculty. Within the department there is a Head of Drama/Dance, Head of Music, and a Head of Art/Textiles all under the leadership of the Head of Creative Arts.There is currently two teachers of Dance/Drama, three teachers of Music, one of Media/Drama and five teachers of Art/Textiles. We are also incredibly fortunate to have a Creative Arts Technician and an Art and Textiles Technician.
