We are looking to appoint a conscientious teacher, committed to raising attainment and progress. Philosophy, Religion and Ethics is a popular subject at St Martin’s and is well-respected by our SLT. At GCSE, we offer AQA Religious Studies as an option subject, and we currently have 2 classes in each cohort.

Last year, 43% of our students achieved a grade 7 or higher. We also currently offer A-Level Philosophy for our Sixth Form students.

St Martin's is an over-subscribed, friendly, co-educational, fully comprehensive school located in Hutton, Brentwood. The school is on one site with extensive grounds which also includes a large sixth form block. Our ethos is a non-bureaucratic approach to all aspects of school life, while maintaining a relentless focus on learning and teaching, to ensure outstanding achievement for our students.
