i-access is a Surrey-wide Drug and Alcohol service that aims to tackle substance misuse and dependency by offering help and hope to those that seek treatment and recovery. We operate from 3 main bases and 25 satellite clinic locations throughout Surrey.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a part-time role, 22.5 hours a week as a Band 6 Group Facilitator / Substance Misuse Nurse or Substance Misuse Specialist depending on qualifications.
The successful candidate will spend time in our main bases across Surrey in Chertsey (NW), Guildford (SW) and Reigate / Epsom (East) delivering groups and workshops, both in person and on line.
The role consists of providing clinical interventions including OST prescription management, alcohol interventions, BBV testing and vaccination for those parents who have complex needs including pregnancy, mental and physical health issues who have substance misuse dependency.
This role comprises of offering high quality evidence based interventions in line with treatment pathways. Please note that a car driver/owner is essential for the role.

This role is working within i-access, a successful, countywide drug and alcohol treatment service for Surrey residents delivering tier 2, 3 and 4 substance misuse interventions across 3 main bases and 25 satellite locations. i-access is run collaboratively by SABP, PH / SCC and Via under a cooperative agreement which is one of partnership and transparency and contributes to Surrey Heartlands wider strategic ambitions.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria- Educated to Degree level in a health or social care related subject i.e., Nurse, OT, Social Work
- Group work qualification desirable.
- Supervisor qualification
Experience
Essential criteria- Minimum of 2 years in Substance Misuse / Mental Health with good transferable skills
- Experience of delivering groups essential
- Experienced in the completion of high quality report writing
- Evidence of CPD
- Experience of strong team working across divisional and organisational boundaries
