We are looking to recruit motivated and hardworking Central Delivery Suite Coordinators, who have excellent communication skills and a passion for their role.
Main duties of the job
When working clinically we expect you to perform with passion and drive and provide clinically excellent care, be supportive to patients, families and other members of the MDT. As a Coordinator you will be expected to promote and lead the delivery of an excellent standard of patient care.We are looking for candidates who can provide pastoral support to aid retention of staff and a foster a culture of positivity
We are offering both full and part time hours.
Successful Candidates will be subject to an appropriate disclosure by The Disclosure and Barring service.

Essential criteria- Registered Midwife
- Good Attendance Record
- Effective Team Leader
- Human factors Training
Qualifications
Essential criteria- Registered Midwife currently on register
- Mentorship/preceptorship certificate
- Leadership course
- NIPE trained
- NLS
- Prompt trainer
- CTG Masterclass
Skills
Essential criteria- Ability to cope with pressure
- Able to manage difficult conversations
- Situational Awareness
- Expert in normality
- clinically competent in intrapartum skills
Knowledge
Essential criteria- up to date in speciality skills such as ctg interpretation
- advanced clinical skills
- awareness of local and national safety initiatives
- In depth knowledge of current challenges in NHS
- Awareness of Birth rate Acuity tool
Experience
Essential criteria- Evidence of recent Professional development
- Significant experience at band 6 level in intrapartum
- Ability to lead in obstetric emergency
- Ability to lead change
- Teaching experience
- Experience in a leadership position
