SEN Teacher
Location: Telford, starting ASAP January 2025
Salary: £160 - £190 per day, depending on experience
About the Role:We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school environment and make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs. This flexible role offers full-time, part-time, or contract opportunities, with the position starting in January 2025.
As a SEN Teacher, you will work closely with students requiring tailored educational support to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students
- Support students with a variety of learning, physical, and emotional challenges
- Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and regularly review progress
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with parents, teaching assistants, and external professionals to support student progress
- Promote positive behaviour and ensure students' safety and well-being
- Adhere to safeguarding and child protection guidelines
- Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to improve teaching practices
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working as a SEN Teacher or in a similar role
- A strong understanding of SEN and differentiated teaching strategies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A passion for supporting students with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential
