DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A COVER SUPERVISOR?
Teaching Personnel Birmingham are in collaboration with a mainstream secondary school in B36 to recruit a confident, reliable and experienced cover supervisor to work at the school on a full time or flexible basis. The school upholds the values of respect and ambition so the successful candidate must also share the importance of these values.
WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS?
Location: B36, BirminghamHours: Full Time (but can be flexible for the right candidate)
Rate of Pay: £95-145 per day dependent upon previous experience and qualifications
Start Date: ASAP (after Feb HT)
WHAT WOULD AN IDEAL CANDIDATE LOOK LIKE?- Previous experience working as a cover supervisor
- Strong classroom presence and confident with behaviour management techniques
- Previously worked as a TA or HLTA and feel confident to make the step up
- Familiar with the national curriculum and ability to support pupils effectively
- Holds an enhanced child only DBS on the update service
- Accurately follow pre set lesson plans and deliver engaging lessons to each class
- Adapt the lesson delivery to suit the individual needs in the class
- Manage classroom behaviour efficiently
- Escalate any concerns with regards to safeguarding or student welfare to the appropriate leadership team
- Communicate effectively with other members of staff
