Paediatric Dietitian (Gastroenterology and Special Needs)

Your Responsibilities You will: Work as an integral member of the acute paediatric gastroenterology and community paediatric multidisciplinary teams, providing specialist clinical dietetic support in a variety of settings including inpatients, outpatients and special schools.Work both autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams to optimise nutritional careManage a case-load of children with special needs some of whom will require home enteral feedingParticipate in community MDT feeding clinics and attend TAC and other meetings as appropriate Experience and skills required: You must be an HCPC registered dietitianExperience of paediatric dietetics is an advantage but if you have relevant adult dietetic experience, transferable skills and a desire to work in paediatrics, then we would encourage you to apply.You must have the ability to cope with unpredictable events and varying workload pressures and be able to plan and prioritise your workload within agreed boundaries
