In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons that explore a range of religious traditions alongside vital PSHE topics such as mental health, relationships, citizenship, and wellbeing, supporting students in becoming informed, responsible, and empathetic citizens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and deliver dynamic RS and PSHE lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school ethos.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes open discussion and critical thinking.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in RS and PSHE, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Integrate contemporary issues and real-life applications to make learning relevant and impactful.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PSHE program and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies, Education, PSHE, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Strong knowledge of world religions, ethics, and PSHE curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience teaching RS and/or PSHE at secondary school level is preferred.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
