A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Systems Specialist, and we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Systems Specialist with extensive knowledge in Power BI and Workforce Management Systems to join our dynamic IT team.

Information:

Position: Systems Specialist
Location: Lewisham (SE13)
Pay Rate: £30,000 per annum

Hours: Average 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems analysis, system administration, or a related field.

Proficiency with Timegate (FM Cloud) - Desirable
Proven experience with business intelligence tools, particularly Power BI.
Demonstrated experience with workforce management systems, especially Timegate.
Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards.
Ability to integrate Power BI with various data sources.
Proficiency in the use of workforce management software.
Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
Adaptability to changing business needs and environments.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Role: Primary Function

Systems Development and Maintenance:

Design and Development: Create, develop, and maintain system applications, including Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring they meet user requirements and business objectives.

Integration: Integrate various data sources with Power BI and other BI tools to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

Optimisation: Optimise system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
Reporting: Generate and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports to various departments, ensuring data is presented in a clear and actionable format.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Systems Administration and Support:

Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and administration of IT systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure.
Support: Provide technical support to end-users, resolving system-related issues and providing training as needed.

Documentation: Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge continuity and compliance.

Project Management:

Planning and Execution: Lead and participate in projects related to system improvements, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams to implement new system solutions and enhancements.

Monitoring: Track project progress and report on status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Workforce Management

System Configuration: Administer and maintain workforce management systems such as Timegate, configuring settings to align with organisational policies.

Data Integrity: Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of employee time, attendance, and scheduling.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in IT and business intelligence technologies.
Recommend Improvements: Propose and implement enhancements to improve system efficiency, data quality, and user experience.

Process Automation: Identify opportunities for process automation and optimisation to increase operational efficiency.

Security and Compliance:

Data Security: Ensure data integrity and security, implementing measures to protect sensitive information.

Compliance: Ensure systems and processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
