Cover Supervisor
Salary: NJC Salary Scale – Grade 4 – Scale Point 8-14
£18,861 - £20,771 actual salary
(£25,992 - £28,624 full time equivalent)
Salary will be pro-rated based on the number of hours and weeks worked per year.- 30 – 3.15 - every day with 30 minutes unpaid lunchbreak
- 25 hours a week

The Minster School is a highly regarded, oversubscribed school, serving the local community of Southwell and surrounding villages. Alongside serving our own students, we are the home of East Midlands East Maths Hub, a strategic partner of the Redhill Teaching Hub and a member of the Minster Learning Alliance. The Minster School is a member of the Minster Trust for Education (MITRE), a multi academy trust.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Cover Supervisor who shares our vision and ambitions for our young people. This role is ideal for an ambitious person who may or may not be looking to develop a career in teaching.
You will be joining a highly motivated and passionate group of staff who work tirelessly in the best interests of the students. All work will be under the guidance of the Lead Cover Supervisor and appropriate subject leaders, within an agreed system of supervision and will involve supervising whole classes and tutor sessions during short-term teacher absence, providing support in curriculum areas and providing daily break and lunch time supervision.

This is a fixed term role on the same pay scale, but with the focus on supporting how to get into teaching.
