32 hours per week - 12 month contract
JOB SUMMARY:- Delivery of complex clinical workload
- To work as part of the team to provide an efficient Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery & Orthodontic Service to the trust.
- Help with training and supervision of new and temporary staff to the department.
- To always act in a manner consistent with the GDC Code of Professional Conduct carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
- Patient reception, assisting clinicians in specialist treatment of maxillofacial and orthodontic patients. Carry out treatment and assisting in the supervision of patients until fit to leave the premises.
- Liaising with secretaries/receptionists regarding appointments and administration.
- Organise and maintain surgery equipment and materials.
- Care and maintenance of electronic equipment, liaising with the medical equipment service department.
