Moonbug Entertainment is seeking a talented and driven Commercial Finance Analyst to join our dynamic FP&A and Commercial Finance Team. In this role, you will collaborate with commercial heads of department to provide critical financial insights across various revenue streams, with a particular focus on Consumer Products and Experiences as well as Brand Partnerships.This position offers a highly varied workload, demanding a flexible mindset to navigate tasks ranging from administrative duties and data-driven analysis to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will:
- Support the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and wider commercial team where needed most
- Business Partner to the commercial teams
- Prepare and deliver weekly reports to the Senior Management Team
- Conduct detailed financial analyses on actual performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting in conjunction with the business heads, as well as updating weekly revenue reports
- Support the accounting team to ensure a smooth flow on invoicing and cash flow and identifying credit risk areas
- Generate commission reports for agents and produce consistent, accurate reporting
- Support strategic initiatives, and produce business models when required
- Take ownership of ad hoc projects as they arise
- 1–3 years of experience in a commercial finance role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with core finance and accounting principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Good time management and multitasking capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and a "completer-finisher" mindset
- Analytical thinking, with creative problem-solving abilities and a commercial focus
Desired Skills and Experience (Optional):
- Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or planning to commence these studies imminently
- Media industry experience
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite
